What Is Dental Airflow Stain Removal?

Airflow differs from the other tooth stain removal treatments, we offer at Aesthetika Dental Studio, in that no bleaching is involved throughout the procedure.

The treatment uses an ingenious but effective way to remove surface stains from teeth without the need for bleach or laser treatments – reducing post-treatment sensitivity of the teeth.

How Does Airflow Stain Removal Work?

The use of water jets means that Airflow is more of a teeth cleaning treatment, which also removes minor surface stains, than a specific tooth whitening treatment.

Sensitivity during treatment is reduced due to the lack of direct contact with the teeth and the absence of heat and vibration, making it a comfortable pain free treatment. In addition, the tiny micro-particles of powder used in the jet of water can actually fill any exposed dentine tubules, reducing a patient’s dental sensitivity on the whole, making eating & drinking hot & cold items more comfortable thereafter.

Instead of using bleach to treat stained teeth, Airflow uses a powerful jet of water containing tiny particles to remove surface stains.
